Magnificent Acadia National Park, where the mountains meet the sea, offers approximately 55 miles of the Rockefeller carriage roads and 160 miles of hiking trails. During the spring, summer, fall, and winter there are endless activities such as whale watching, visiting interesting museums, sailing, canoeing, fishing, shopping, kayaking, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and antiquing, just to name a few.
