InnKeepers Vaccinated

  • All of Coach Stop's owner-innkeepers and staff are fully Covid-19 vaccinated and boosted (including Omicron bivalent).

Face Masking Policy

  • In compliance with United States CDC and Maine CDC, face masks are optional.  If you have any hint of Covid symptoms, please wear a face mask anywhere outside your room and alert the innkeepers.  Coach Stop is happy to provide face masks and test kits at your request.

International Guests

  • Please research and comply with the United States CDC website on  international travelers entering the U.S.  That information is found here.

Other thoughts on Covid

  • With 6 suites and rooms and no public access, there is significantly less traffic through Coach Stop than in many other properties.
  • We always provide meticulously owner-cleaned rooms and public spaces using commercial cleaning and sanitizing products and techniques recommended by the US FDA.
  • Being a little outside of town, Coach Stop is away from the cruise ship dock and the crowded areas of Bar Harbor.  We are happy to recommend excellent restaurants and wonderful activities in Acadia National Park that are off the beaten path.
  • Acadia National Park is a major portion of the entire island and areas of nearby mainland.  Like all national parks, a vast majority is mostly un-visited.  We are happy to offer directions to the best kept secrets of Acadia if you wish to maximize your time in the beautiful, yet quieter areas. (Photos of some of these are on Coach Stop’s Facebook.)
  •  The state of Maine is the 7th least populated state in the nation.  The Portland and Bangor airports are tiny compared to many.  This may explain why Maine is among the states with the fewest reported cases of Covid-19.

We look forward to meeting you.  We are happy to discuss anything about your visit as we want it to be as wonderful as possible.

All our best,

Jim & Anna
