Terms & Conditions


Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Coach Stop Inn's site. The Customer may also be referred to as "Guest", "User", or "You" in the below terms and conditions. We value privacy, experience, and simplicity. As such, you will enjoy a more seamless self-check in. We strive to maximize your feeling of seclusion and streamline some of the less-exciting parts of travel. We are just a phone call away if you have any questions or issues.

SMS opt in:
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you authorize Coach Stop Inn to send text messages and emails with details regarding your reservation information and other offers. Message/data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Conditions of Use:
By using this website, you certify that you have read and reviewed this Agreement and that you agree to comply with its terms. If you do not want to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, you are advised to leave the website accordingly. Coach Stop Inn only grants use and access of this website, its products, and its services to those who have accepted its terms.

Age Restriction:
You must be at least 21 years of age before you can secure a reservation with us. Hotel assumes no responsibility for liabilities related to age misrepresentation.

As we are a smaller historical inn, we are not the best option for younger children under the age of 8.

Cancellation Policy:
As a small inn, cancellations have a big impact on us. If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please let us know at least 14 days before your arrival for a full refund of your deposit, minus a $25 service fee per room.

Cancellations made within 14 days will be refunded (less the $25 fee) only if we’re able to rebook your room. If we’re unable to rebook, the deposit is forfeited, and you’ll be responsible for the full reservation amount.
Refunds: In the event there is an identified deficiency with the accommodation or guest experience, a discount or refund may be agreed upon in writing by Guest and Hotel . IN THE EVENT A DISCOUNT OR REFUND IS AGREED UPON, GUEST WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SUBMIT A CHARGEBACK CASE WITH THE ISSUER OF THE PAYMENT METHOD USED TO BOOK THEIR STAY. AGREEMENT TO A DISCOUNT OR REFUND IS EVIDENCE THAT GUEST DEEMS THE ISSUE RESOLVED AND THAT GUEST HAS BEEN SUFFICIENTLY COMPENSATED.

Check-in / Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00pm EST, Check-out is at 11:00am EST unless otherwise agreed upon.

Events and Parties: Only pre-approved gatherings, parties and events are allowed.

Taxes:
All reservations are subject to: Maine State Lodging Tax of 9%
All food and drink purchases on site are subject to the Maine State sales tax of 8%

Indemnification:

Limitation on Liability: Hotel is not liable for any damages that may occur to you as a result of your misuse of our website or services. Hotel reserves the right to edit, modify, and change this Agreement at any time. We shall let our users know of these changes through electronic mail. This Agreement is an understanding between Hotel and the user, and this supersedes and replaces all prior agreements regarding the use of this website.

Lost Items: Coach Stop Inn is not responsible for loss of valuables and/or guest items.

Payments : All payments are processed through the PCI compliant software. All reservations require a valid credit card number on file. A 50% deposit of the full amount of the reservation is due upon booking.

Damages: During your stay, your room and furniture should be treated with care and kept in order. Immediate notification to the owners will be expected of any damages or breakages. The Guest is responsible for any damages or breakages found that are over and above normal wear and tear and usage. In this case, a detailed statement of damage along with an invoice for the repair or replacement cost will be sent by email immediately. 

Smoking Policy: For the comfort of all guests, the Coach Stop Inn is a completely smoke-free property. This includes electronic cigarettes and THC containing products. Smoking is prohibited anywhere inside the inn and includes decks & patios. Any evidence of smoking will result in a minimum $400 cleaning fee.

Pet Policy: We are unable to accommodate any pets on the property. 

Parking: We offer off-street parking for all guests. Please note that we are unable to accommodate RVs or campers or trailers.

Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or early departures are charged in full.
